International Community Media Day (#commedia13) is a worldwide event celebrating community media on November 4th 2013. We at King Lambie Productions are working hard to create a day full of presentations, workshops and networking in Scotland, working in partnership with over 25 different countries who are all doing the same.
Our friends at Citizens Eye in Leicester will be pulling a feed from all over the world to create a view of community media in the world on this day. Scotland’s hub will have a lot to show for our community media industry!
In the line up so far we have Summerhall TV, Mindwaves, We are Northern Lights, and many other groups and projects coming to speak to us as well as Prof. David McGillivray from the Digital Commonwealth. We have a panel of community radio experts from Awaz FM, Camglen Radio and Irvine Beat FM and to top it off some filming, social media, digital media and reporting workshops.
